BBL (Broadband Light) is a light therapy method used to treat signs of skin aging, pigmentation problems and vascular lesions. BBL uses broad-spectrum light waves that penetrate the tissues beneath the skin without damaging the skin surface. These light waves target melanin and hemoglobin in the skin, reducing pigment spots and vascular problems.
The treatment is commonly applied to sun-exposed areas such as the face, neck, décolleté and hands. BBL also stimulates collagen production, making the skin look firmer and more youthful. The treatment is minimally invasive, usually does not require anesthesia and offers a rapid recovery period after the procedure. Optimal results are achieved with a 3-5 treatment program.
